WAR. WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR?
Edwin Starr has died at the age of 61 of a suspected heart-attack.
The soul singer, best known for his 1970 hit 'War' which reached number one in the US and three in the UK, died yesterday (April 2) at his British home in Nottinghamshire.
Born Charles Hatcher in Nashville, Tennessee, Starr was amongst the many soul stars that made their name at the legendary Motown label.
